Disneyland for Dogs in Portland, Oregon

Posted July 26, 2011

There is a little slice of heaven for dogs that love dog parks here in Oregon.  It’s called the Sandy River Delta Dog Park.   The words awesome, breath-taking,  and amazing are an understatement.  Our dogs had a grand time romping around and chasing each other.  Our youngest, Frances Bean, even managed to find a huge mud puddle and immediately proceeded to splash around and get everyone wet.  What can you do?

Go check it out.  It’s definitely worth the drive.

Have fun!

AKA “Thousand Acres”, this place is a wonderland for dogs, but it is also good for horse riding, bike riding, and birding.
I like to take my mountain bike when I take my dogs, and we all get a good workout.

Love that you named your dog after Kurt Cobain’s daughter… very beautiful dogs :)

She definitely is a cutie. It’s a complete coincidence she’s named after Cobain’s daughter. That’s really funny. Her name started out as “Frances.” Then it became “France No.” I honestly don’t know how we began calling her “Frances Bean” or sometimes just “Bean.” Maybe it’s because she’s as cute as a bean.
    Cheers
