American Animal Hospital Association
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) strives to enhance the abilities of veterinarians and their health care teams to provide quality medical care to companion animals.  They have a hospital certification program that outlines medical standards of care and medical office and equipment standards of care.  It’s a rigorous process and hospitals are tested every three years to maintain their certification.  We’ve been a certified AAHA hospital for over 25 years.

American Veterinary Medical Association
The American Veterinary Medical Association is similar to the AAHA and also strives to enhance the abilities of veterinarians and their health care teams to provide quality medical care to companion animals.

Animal Rescue
We work closely with these folks to help stray or abandoned pets. They are funded solely by donation and operate with volunteers to temporarily foster pets until they can find a permanent home.

Four Legged Photo
Alicia’s photographs are stunning.  They adorn our hospital walls.  We met Alicia last year when we saw her working with pets being adopted from the Oregon Humane Society.  She takes pictures of the Lucky Seven, the seven longest canine residents at Oregon Humane Society, with the hopes of showing people these pets are beautiful and special and worthy of a new forever home.   She definitely has the gift of bringing out the best pet and pet/human pictures.  We highly recommend you see her picture portfolio if you’d like some professional pictures of you and your pets.

Multnomah County Animal Control
These are the folks that help stray or abandoned animals, rabies licensing, and other legal issues surrounding pets.

Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals
These folks help find homes for stray or abandoned pets.

Oregon Humane Society
The Oregon Humane Society is one of the best places to go to find your next pet. They have lots of choices and they’ll work closely with you and your family to find a best fit. Once you’ve made your selection, schedule a complimentary exam with one of our doctors to get your new friend off to a great start.
