- Check with your neighbors and around your neighborhood.
- Post flyers on telephone poles giving your pet's description and your contact information.
- Call us to report your pet is missing – we'll check our lost and found board.
- Call other local veterinary hospitals in case a good Samaritan brought your pet to them.
- Go to the Multnomah County Animal Control website www.co.multnomah.or.us/dbcs/pets and register and check their database.
- Place an ad in the lost/found section of the Oregonian classified, it's free for a one time posting.
- Go to the Oregon Humane Society and check in with lost and found.
- Confirm you're address and phone number information is current for you're pet's microchip. Home Again www.homeagainid.com and Avid Microchip www.avidmicrochip.com are the two companies that sell and register microchips.
- Continue walking around your neighborhood and checking with neighbors.

- Come in to see us to scan the pet for a microchip. We'll also collect some info and post it on our bulletin board and website.
- Register the lost pet with Multnomah County Animal Control www.co.multnomah.or.us/dbcs/pets
- Place an ad in the lost/found section of the Oregonian classified, it's free for a one time posting.
