Your first year in this program is prepaid with the purchase of the microchip. You’ll have the option to renew each year if you choose. If you decline, you will be moved into the Basic Program which means your information will continue to be stored in the database permanently and you can still update your contact information as needed at no charge. Any pet service organization that scans your pet will still be able to find you, it just may take longer to reunite you with your lost pet. If later on you want to renew the membership, you can do so at any time, just pay the annual fee. The cost is $16.99 per year.
