Christine Fletcher, DVM
Dr. Fletcher received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of California, Davis, in 1990. She has practiced in California, Tennessee, and Washington, and has been practicing in the Portland area since 1994. In addition, she was an instructor at the Veterinary Technician Program at Portland Community College for many years. Dr. Fletcher is also an accomplished author; her novel Ten Cents a Dance was named a Top Ten Best Book for Young Adults by the American Library Association. When she’s not writing her next fiction novel, you might see her hiking, enjoying a cup of tea and her favorite book at a local coffee shop. She lives with her partner Mitch, dogs Inja and Roxie and 2 cats Molly Brown and Seamus O’Leary. Dr. Fletcher works Fridays and Saturdays for us and mainly sees dogs and cats.
Our veterinarians have graduated from different universities across the United States. We believe this diversity creates a wonderful blend of thoughts, ideas, styles, and best ways of approaching the challenges of veterinary medicine. Our doctors meet on a regular basis to talk about cases and evaluate the latest developments and medical breakthroughs. They also attend continuing education seminars and workshops each year to stay current.
All of our doctors are fabulous. You may already have some favorites. Just let us know if you have a specific doctor preference and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
