Heather Dillon, DVM
Heather grew up in the Bay Area of California and made her way east after college, graduating from Texas A & M University in 1996. She then traveled to Prince Edward Island where she completed a one year, small animal internship. She made her way back to the west coast and Portland in 1997 and has lived here ever since. Some of her free time is spent helping with clinics for the pets of Portland’s homeless population. She is an avid reader, enjoys gardening and fly fishing, and playing the banjo. Dr. Dillon lives with her partner Andre and son Finnegan and cats Brackley and Thomas. She works part time for us and sees appointments Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays and performs surgeries and dentistries on alternating Thursdays.
Our veterinarians have graduated from different universities across the United States. We believe this diversity creates a wonderful blend of thoughts, ideas, styles, and best ways of approaching the challenges of veterinary medicine. Our doctors meet on a regular basis to talk about cases and evaluate the latest developments and medical breakthroughs. They also attend continuing education seminars and workshops each year to stay current.
All of our doctors are fabulous. You may already have some favorites. Just let us know if you have a specific doctor preference and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
