Ross Weinstein, BVSc

Dr. Ross Weinstein grew up in Manchester, England on a diet of good football and great curry. After a brief interlude living in the Middle East dodging Scuds during the Gulf War, he was deemed a suitable candidate for vet school at Liverpool University. After a spell as a vet in London, an internship in Wildlife Medicine at Tufts Veterinary School, and a 3-year stint in a small animal and exotics practice in Boston, Dr. Weinstein finally made his way to the west coast. He enjoys working with dogs and cats and has a strong interest in caring for exotic pets: birds, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, you name it.
Dr. Weinstein also enjoys geriatric medicine, seeing the same pets through their entire life cycle. He enjoys running, cricket, fly fishing, gardening, and cooking. He lives with his wife, Darcy, his faithful box turtle Parsnip, a dog named Callum, and assorted cats. He sees appointments Mondays, some Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and performs surgery & dentistries on some Thursdays.
Our veterinarians have graduated from different universities across the United States. We believe this diversity creates a wonderful blend of thoughts, ideas, styles, and best ways of approaching the challenges of veterinary medicine. Our doctors meet on a regular basis to talk about cases and evaluate the latest developments and medical breakthroughs. They also attend continuing education seminars and workshops each year to stay current.
All of our doctors are fabulous. You may already have some favorites. Just let us know if you have a specific doctor preference and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
