Sue Schallberger, DVM – Radiology & Ultrasound

To give your pet the best medical diagnosis possible, we decided a long time ago to have all of our radiographs reviewed by a Radiologist.  Dr Schallberger comes to our hospital two days a week and carefully reviews your pet’s x-rays and consults with your doctor.  Once we have the complete x-ray report, we’ll be able to tell you about the best treatment options for your pet.   She also comes to some of our doctor meetings to help us with case review and interpreting radiographic findings.

Besides reviewing all of our radiographs, Dr Schallberger performs our more advanced and complicated ultrasounds.  We assign one of our Hospital Technicians to help her with these cases.  Once the ultrasound is complete, she’ll consult with the attending doctor to see if it’s appropriate to take a biopsy sample to send to the lab for more information.  We’re very thankful Dr Schallberger makes her weekly rounds with us and helps us take good care of our patients – your pets.
